Dental plans fight fraud to stay competitive

Article Abstract:

Dental benefits are important aspect of the compensation package for Americans. Though rising inflation is accounting for a a bigger slice of the employers' funds, dental benefits carriers are keen to expand the coverage with dental premiums having just five percent growth. The key to keeping the premiums low is effective prevention of fraudulent claims by dentists and patients. The use of software like Fraud and Abuse Management System and collaboration between competing dental benefits carriers along with education and cooperation of policy holders, plan sponsors, dentists are can help fight dental fraud effectively.

Dental benefits: a tool for recruiting and retaining employees

Article Abstract:

Employer-sponsored dental insurance is not a new concept in employee benefits management but has become increasingly significant as an employee retention tool in a tight job market. By itself, dental coverage will most likely not be a decisive factor in retaining top talent. However, in combination with all other employee benefits in the compensation package, dental coverage does a great deal in helping companies to recruit and keep skilled employees.
