Valorisation chimique de methane par plasmas micro-ondes

Article Abstract:

The conversion of methane in a direct microwave plasma has been studied at 4-28 Torr pressures in a tubular flow reactor in a parallelepipedic Moreau cavity to determine products from methane conversion, especially C2 hydrocarbons. Results are compared to those from other processes. Reaction products were analyzed using gas phase chromatography. Substantial yields of C2 hydrocarbons can be obtained.
