Automatic grenade launchers: Trends and prospects

Article Abstract:

Automatic grenade launchers (AGLs) are increasingly present in the inventory of many armed forces worldwide. However, AGLs are still the subject of an intense debate, being regarded as hybrid weapon systems on one hand and being multi-purpose weapon systems with the ability to effectively engage a wide variety of both stationary and mobile targets with direct or indirect suppressive area fire on the other.

Armored fighting vehicles development--A U.K. perspective

Article Abstract:

An overview is presented from a U.K. perspective of the situation of existing Armored Fighting Vehicle (AFV) fleets internationally. The operational, technological and industrial implications of AFV capability are discussed, suggesting that buyers have a choice of a wide range of solutions enabled by AFV platforms that are developed by different countries.
