Crisis management

Article Abstract:

The outcome of the Balkan War taught the military leaders of the UK and most other Western nation's military leaders manning the region, about the changing phase of the world. The UK and the US, which have posted their forces in Iraq and Afghanistan to bring back normalcy must apply the lessons offered by the Balkan war to solve the crisis arising out of the Civil War raging in the two countries.

Sea sentinels

Article Abstract:

Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) are fast becoming the preferred platforms for persistent ocean surveillance in the US, as the Pentagon is planning to increase its surveillance over the world's ocean and waterways. The various UAV programs carried out by the Navy, Air Force and Army are discussed.

Robots make war more survivable

The role of the robotic unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs) in scouting dangerous situations in the warfield and helping in the survival of soldiers is appreciated.
