Article Abstract:

The changes undergone by the Netherlands Armed Forces since the end of the Cold War inevitably have an influence on the size and composition of those forces dealing with it. The naval power 'at sea' and 'from the sea' together were brought under an expeditionary umbrella in a 'modular task group' concept which is the basis for operations of the Royal Netherlands Navy and which is able to achieve both types of deployment as efficiently as possible.

Romanian navy

Article Abstract:

Romanian Naval Forces under partnership for peace programme and bi-lateral partnership agreements the Romanian ships and crews have tested and improved their interoperability with NATO and non NATO nations partners. Further these Naval forces are also an active participant to BLACKSEA-FOR (Black Sea Co-operation Task Group), regional initiatives aimed to contribute to enhancing dialogue between Black Sea nations Navies.

The Royal Danish Navy--A versatile Navy transiting into the future

Article Abstract:

The Royal Danish Navy, which for most part of its existence was expeditionary in nature, is reverting to its original expeditionary role. The Navy is in the midst of the transformation process from a littoral 'Cold War Fleet' to become a modern littoral Fleet with a global reach.
