Saudi's fenceless barrier

Article Abstract:

Saudi Arabia faces daunting security challenges due to a possible jihadist backlash from Iraq and a history of violence with Yemen due to cross-border movement, and hence proposes a virtual barrier to enhance border security. Although the security framework includes sensor grid to complement physical barriers, frontier fort network and coastguard development, Saudi Arabia does not currently include the necessary transnational intelligence sharing for the success of the fenceless barrier security system.

Intention to deceive: Iraqi misdirection of UN inspectors

Article Abstract:

Efforts of the United Nations weapons inspectors were stonewalled when they sought documents containing a list of chemical weapons found in a safe, within the operations center of the Iraqi Air Force headquarters. Most of the apparent acts of co-operation were seen to be double edged and the destruction of the biological materials was the main element in Iraq's concealing of the program.
