The Pacific Armies Management Seminar maximizes discussion on theater security

Article Abstract:

Regional approaches and the strengthening of personal ties to combat terror, piracy, drug trafficking, and transnational threats were the main areas of focus in the annual Pacific Armies Management Seminar (PAMS) in Seoul, South Korea. It was observed that through cooperation, nations would find strength, courage, and conviction to identify, recognize, and deal with the sponsors of terrorism whether they are individuals, groups, or nations.

Investing in people: The secret to success in the Global war on terrorism

Article Abstract:

The Acting Secretary of the Army and the Army Chief of Staff are transforming the military personnel system so as to fulfill the requirements for the global war on terrorism. Unit modularity, force stabilization, active component/reserve component, rebalancing, and military-to-civilian job conversions are the key areas, which are playing an important role in the on-going transformation of the Army personnel system.

Army logisticians: Providing materiel readiness

Army logisticians consisting of soldiers, civilians and contractor are deployed around the world and are working day and night to support the global war on terrorism. Army logisticians are trying to overcome the various obstacles and exceptions they had in the past years as of 2004.
