Unilever and Procter & Gamble line up campaigns for new entries in laundry detergent

Article Abstract:

Unilever Group and Procter and Gamble are in a race to introduce Americans to their new laundry detergent tablet products. A successful ad campaign by Lowe Lintas and Partners Worldwide for Unilever Group has given the tablets a 20% share of the European market, a success Unilever hopes to repeat with the introduction of Wisk Dual Action Laundry Tablets in the US. Procter and Gamble is introducing its Tide Rapid Action Tablets with a new campaign designed by Saatchi and Saatchi.

Golfers begin a $5 million campaign to catch up to the boom in other professional sports for women

Article Abstract:

The Ladies Professional Golf Associaton has hired T.G. Madison to handle the first advertising campaign for women golfers. The L.P.G.A. is 51 years old and is the oldest women's professional sports association, yet is still not as highly known as basketball, tennis or soccer.
