Bi-directional relations between anti-smoking parenting practices and adolescent smoking in a Dutch sample

Article Abstract:

The relationship between adolescent smoking and anti-smoking parenting practices such as anti-smoking house rules, is examined. Findings revealed that adolescent smoking behavior affects parenting practices more than parenting practices affecting smoking behavior. The impacts of the smoking behavior of parents are also investigated.
