Intrinsic motivation and extrinsic incentives in a repeated game with incomplete contracts

Article Abstract:

Labor relations with incomplete contracts and repeated interactions and opportunities for social exchange were examined to evaluate their implications. Findings show that effort levels increased in repeated interactions than one-shot negotiations. The level of reciprocity was greatly influenced by the reciprocal behavior of players. Considerations for treatment-dependent equity were also found in the results.
