Great expectations

Article Abstract:

A number of significant trends are currently emerging in the property market in the Bristol and Weston super Mare, England, region. In Bristol and the surrounding area, there is a shortage of high quality, medium-size office and industrial space, and this is prompting potential occupiers to look at other locations, such as Weston super Mare and Clevedon. Developers are unwilling to consider building smaller units, and this is leaving agents with problems of stock shortages.

Waiting for take-off

Article Abstract:

There is only limited demand for industrial property in Dorset. Most industrial buildings are situated around the towns of Poole and Bournemouth, and tend to be out-dated. There is also a lack of large buildings of more than 1,858 sq mt. Low rents and strict planning policies are hampering the development of new industrial property. Developers would only become involved if a stepped rental increase were introduced.

Something old, nothing new, very blue

Article Abstract:

The town of Luton, England, is only a short distance away from London and has good transport links, but is proving unable to attract property developers. It has gained a reputation as a depressed area, and is now in urgent need of positive marketing. There has been no speculative development there for some time, and this has led to a shortage of office space.
