Saatchi accused over missing files

Article Abstract:

Advertising agency Saatchi and Saatchi has accused Maurice Saatchi, who was recently deposed as chairman, of removing confidential company files. It is now threatening to sue for the return of the files and to take legal action against any of the employees who have recently resigned and who then start up competing agencies before the end of contracts which prevent them from doing so for at least 12 months. Maurice Saatchi is not bound by such conditions, and is already setting up a rival agency.

Saatchi minus Saatchi?

Article Abstract:

The future of top advertising agency Saatchi and Saatchi has suddenly been called into question with the resignation of co-founder Maurice Saatchi, which is almost certain to be followed by that of his brother Charles. There are already rumours that Maurice Saatchi has started setting up a new agency, and he may well steal clients from the agency he has left behind. The crisis will have a significant impact on the advertising industry as a whole.

Three top men quit Saatchi in protest

Article Abstract:

Advertising agency Saatchi and Saatchi may find it difficult to retain its leading clients following the departure of three top executives in protest at moves by shareholders to oust co-founder Maurice Saatchi, who resigned recently. The agency's share price has fallen following the news, and media analysts believe that it will face a difficult future. They emphasise particularly that staff morale could be badly affected.
