The secret fears of the ME generation

Article Abstract:

People suffering from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS), which is now increasingly prevalent in all sections of the population in the UK, are very keen to stress that this is a real physical illness, as they do not wish to be regarded as simply lazy. They feel very insulted if onlookers imply that the illness is entirely psychological and that they therefore do not deserve any sympathy. In fact, it is misguided to describe an illness as being purely physical or purely psychological, and CFS requires a much more holistic approach.

Charles: King of the Legumes

Article Abstract:

Prince Charles has always held fairly unusual views, and has been accused by some observers of living in the past. Certainly, he seems to be increasingly out of touch with reality. He appears to believe that his views are of value for the UK as a whole, but this is not necessarily the case. He is very idealistic, but fails to put forward suggestions which could really be put into practice. He is becoming increasingly discredited, and could eventually put his own position in jeopardy.

If only everyone were as good as me ...

Article Abstract:

Morality has recently become a key political issue in the UK, with all politicians struggling to show themselves as morally superior to others. This has served merely to rob the concept of any real meaning. Ordinary people are not really concerned about the morality, but simply want the opportunity to lead a decent life. Simply talking about morality will not provide this opportunity.
