Slow leak seen in Saturn's rings

Article Abstract:

Scientists believe that the water detected in Saturn's stratosphere was carried to the planet along magnetic lines created by microscopic meteorites colliding with and eroding the planet's rings. Study of the water may reveal the lifespan of the rings and those of other giant planets.

Home of planetary wanderers is sized up for the first time

Article Abstract:

Hubble Space Telescope and ground-based observations of the Kuiper Belt support the theory that the belt is the source of most of the comets within the inner solar system. Researchers believe the belt may contain as many as 35,000 objects exceeding 100 kilometers in size.
