The mediating role of psychological capital in the supportive organizational climate--employee performance relationship

Article Abstract:

The significance of positive psychological capital in moderating the impacts of supportive organizational climate on employee performance is analyzed. Results showed that psychological capital is positively associated to employee performance, commitment and satisfaction. The importance of an employee's psychological capital in an organization is examined further.

Opening the black box: an experimental investigation of the mediating effects of trust and value congruence on transformational and transactional leadership

Article Abstract:

Research is presented concerning the behavior exhibited by 194 students who worked under transactional and transformational leadership conditions to complete a task. The students performance is discussed.

Psychological capital development: toward a micro-intervention

Article Abstract:

A micro-intervention model to develop psychological capital is presented. Preliminary research shows that the model has high financial impact and a very high return on investment.
