Breaking records is the theme

Article Abstract:

There are nine Anheuser-Busch Theme Parks in the US. They have combined forces with Universal and Wet'n Wild as part of their expansion programme. For the fifth year running attendances have reached record levels, due to the introduction of new attractions at each of the parks. Wild Arctic opened at Sea World of Florida. Other attractions include Key West which has underwater displays and viewing areas. The company plans to continue expanding, especially in its Florida parks, to maintain attendance levels and customer satisfaction.

Dizzying Disney growth

Article Abstract:

Walt Disney World opened 25 years ago and has been visited by 550 million people. It covers 27,400 acres of central Florida and consists of a number of different attractions including the Epcot Centre, MGM Studios and three water parks. Animal Kingdom and Wide World of Sports are due to open in the near future. The theme park is visited by 30 million people each year and 2.5 million of them are from Britain. Walt Disney World is targeting the UK because it is still an expanding market.

Disney opens Blizzard Beach as everyone adds attractions

Article Abstract:

The Blizzard Beach attraction opened by Disney in May 1995 features 19 water slides and an icy bobsled run. This is one of several attractions to have been opened recently by theme park operators in Florida. At Universal Studios, for example, the new film Casper features 3-D computer graphic animation, while Sea World has a number of new shows, including Mermaids, Myths and Monsters night extravaganza.
