Holograms of atoms

Article Abstract:

The use of internal-source holography to produce sharper, more detailed three-dimensional images of atoms is discussed. This technique may be useful for small atomic clusters which are unsuitable for X-ray crystallography.

Why trapped atoms are attractive

Article Abstract:

Issues are presented concerning the use of ultracold matter by theoretical physicists to model stellar clusters and black holes. The use of trapped atoms to simulate gravity is discussed.
