Article Abstract:
Prospective call center operators are being encouraged by the New Mexico Economic Development Department to consider the state when looking for a good location. Aside from an abundance of affordable sites and the natural beauty of its environment, the region also has an unemployment rate that is well above the US average. The closing of several manufacturing facilities in the area has resulted in the availability of a fairly large labor pool.
