NBC launches two more DRTV offers

NBC, a Burbank, CA-based network, has started airing DRTV spots for the series "Homicide" that offer three videos for $24.95. The network, which is using its air time to direct market videotapes, is also running spots for the special "Gulliver's Travels," and spots for two video packages of "Saturday Night Live" highlights. The "Gulliver's Travels" package includes two videos for $19.95, plus $4.95 shipping and handling fees. NBC is reportedly planning to release more video offers in the coming weeks.

Williams Worldwide launches Latin products

Informercial marketer Williams Worldwide Television Inc of Santa Monica, CA, has launched threee infomercial products throughout parts of Latin America. The products include the Mighty Pro Grill, markteted by Sylmark Communications; Hollywood Glamour Patch, an anti-wrinkle product developed by Kent and Spiegel Direct Inc; and Madacy Collection, a compilation of classic music marketed by Madacy Entertainment Group Inc. Williams will distribute the informercial through its Media Uno program.
