Australian engineers are unknown heroes who travel to such countries as Bosnia, Liberia, Yemen, Uganda, and Chechnya to repair sanitary systems, build shelters, and water and electricity supplies. When Papua New Guinea was struck by a tsunami, agricultural engineers traveled there to assist. Registered Engineers for Disaster Relief has sent hundreds of its members to war-torn countries.

The sad demise of one of the most charismatic singers of the early twentieth century, Nellie Melba, is chronicled who despite performing in one of the most competitive eras of all times always held her own against all her contemporaries. Melba was a great supporter of the contemporary music of her time, whose dulcet voice was accepted by music aficionados.
