Fruits of the forest

Article Abstract:

The Oasis Forest Holiday Village in Cumbria, UK looks set for completion on schedule in April 1997. This was a massive 90 millions pound sterling construction project. Tarmac won the main 40 million pounds sterling contract which has a duration of only 14 months. There are two big constructions, the 18,000 square meter, butterfly-shaped village centre and water-world and the 6,500 square meter country club which is a five minute drive away. Treating the two as separate projects and managing the communications have been key features of the development along with measures to minimize impact on the wildlife of the area.
