Perfect pitch

Article Abstract:

The UK construction industry does not have a reputation for efficient marketing as it fails to perceive itself as a service industry. Glossy brochures do not usually contain sufficient information to satisfy the client, as to who handled certain contracts and in what way. A 1993 report by the Chartered Institute of Building entitled 'Marketing and the Construction Client' shows that clients are looking for quality rather than low prices. Information on contractors' past achievements and employee expertise is becoming more important.
