Personal touch key to Hager success

Article Abstract:

The two brothers Oswald and Herman Hager founded the Hager company 35 years ago, Oswald running the German company and Herman the French. The French company has factories at Obernai manufacturing switches, fuses and the like. The German factories at Ensheim and Bliekastel produce distribution boards and consumer units. The factories work to many different customer specifications with hundreds of standards. There has been more liaison between the two companies through the formation of a holding company. They expect to be in the top three German and French market suppliers and to take 15% of the market elsewhere in Europe.

The rungs to success

Article Abstract:

Many engineers tend to assume that all cable support systems are very similar, and therefore fail to detail their requirements. This is a misguided approach, as carefully assessing different systems can in fact lead to considerable financial and time savings. It is common for engineers to over-specify, which can lead to the installation of equipment which is far beyond actual requirements.
