A 21-year-old woman with atypical squamous cells of undetermined significance

Article Abstract:

The cervical cancer screening is reviewed in the discussion of Ms G, a 21-year-old woman with results from 2 consecutive Papanicolaou tests demonstrating atypical squamous cells of undetermined significance (ASC-US). Atypical squamous cells of undetermined significance are defined as squamous cell abnormalities not fulfilling strict criteria for dysplasia.

A 69-year-old woman with left main coronary artery disease

Dr. Delbanco, a 69-year-old woman with angina pectoris and left main coronary artery diseases, documented by cardiac catherization. She has a 35-year history of hypertension, treated successfully over years with a variety of medications and for the past several years she has taken statins with good response.
