Validation of bioimpedance spectroscopy to assess acute changes in hydration status

Article Abstract:

A study was done on seventeen young adults to validate bioimpedance sprectroscopy (BIS) as a field method of measuring small, acute changes in intracellular water during a fluid fast/rehydration manipulation and see the deleterious effects on performance, health and functional capacity and confirmed the hypothesis.
